Carbine North

Project Summary

The Carbine North Project located approximately 60 km's northwest of the world class mining centre of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, and along strike form the Carbine Gold Mining Centre (1980's open pit gold mining).

Carbine North contains an inferred gold resource estimated by Resolute Ltd (1995), of 747,600t @ 1.95 g/t Au for 46,870 oz Au (0.75 g/t Au cut-off). This resource is associated with quartz veining and is hosted along a stratigraphic contact between archaean ultramafic and basaltic rock units. Resource drilling has traced the mineralisation over a strike in excess of 1.2 km, with the best part of the resource covering approximately 600 metres strike. The vast majority of the mineralisation has only been tested within the top 60 metres from surface, although in places drilling has extended the resource to a depth of 90 metres.
